Best New Artist
At the opening reception for my solo show in Galería del Teatro Lux (Guatemala City), a place with a history of highly political performance art, I dressed up as Alanis Morissette and performed an acoustic version of the same song that she performed when she was awarded a Grammy for best new artist in 1996.
